We always receive friend requests from people we don’t know on Facebook – well, I’m the type to accept them first, then get to know them. Isn’t that how life should be?
Well, in this friend acceptance I found a true Go Getter , Nannette Bosh, who happens to own Bangleandclutch.com.
Bangleandclutch.com has a brick and mortar counterpart, of which is in South Windsor, Connecticut. Nannette decided to head toward the information superhighway future and created the website to connect women with fashion and accessories.
![]() The concept of
Bangleandclutch.com is for it to be a place where women would want to go to read information on fashion. They also offer in store private parties and also participate in the organization, Dress for Success. Dress for Success has the purpose of getting women back to work, women get clothing, makeovers, accessories, and interview tips about how to get a job. A big fashion show fundraiser is the Capital Catwalk, which raises money for Dress for Success is upcoming in May, 2010. Many local celebrities make an appearance and show for this grand event of which has sold out in the past.
In continuing the growth they have also started a networking event called Tiara Tuesday (pictured at bottom), of which restaurants team up to provide food and free beverages. The money collected from this women attended event also goes back to Dress for Success.
On the fashion side, BangleandClutch.com is making strides to helping women accessorize and layer. The latest fashion accessory is a multiple strand pearl with chains or an even hotter item is the multi-use 5 strand 80 inches of beading which can be worn as a necklace which can be diversified, or as a belt, or even as a bracelet. (pictured here) Talk about great bang for your buck!
![]() More to come back are the oversized pendant and the scarf. The scarves are made in the USA and are extremely elegant and softer. I’m not a pendant wearer, so I had to ask about wearing pendants. Nannette gave some great advice, “The focal point on a v-neck would be the pendant.”
The clutches can be used during the day and hold more than a lipstick. Then they can be used for after work with the chain attached.
Colors that she is seeing the most are gray and wine (burgundy). “Grey is becoming the new neutral color. Even with orange it looks good. Grey will become a new staple like chocolate and black.”
“Wine seems to be taking the place of red.”

Stay tuned for the site to be up and ready for you to shop. Until then you can keep up to date with her promotions on Facebook, just friend her.
